Job Description

Job Description Our client is looking for an Associate Buyer to support their Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Buying team with ownership of specific apparel categories. This role is essential to daily operations, inventory accuracy, and reporting, and reports to the Senior Director of Buying. The ideal candidate is an analytical, detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, along with a solid understanding of retail math, Open-to-Buy (OTB) plans, assortment planning, and SKU management. Responsibilities include supporting buying and merchandising activities, maintaining purchase orders, collaborating with internal teams and vendors, attending market and vendor meetings, and analyzing sales and consumer trends. The Associate Buyer will also assist with inventory management, pricing execution, order entry, reporting, and cross-functional communication to ensure smooth business execution.   • Bachelors required
  • 2-3 years of experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of retail math, OTB, assortment planning, and SKU management
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Passion for data/numbers and retail/product. Detail-oriented, collaborative, and highly organized.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data analytics principles and experience with information systems.
  • Proficiency in Business Objects.
  • Experience in Anaplan.
