Product Data, Pricing & Catalog Specialist

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate product information, supporting pricing analysis, assisting with catalog structure and indexing, and helping organize product-related marketing and flyer materials. This position plays an important role in ensuring our product data is accurate, organized, and useful for internal teams, customers, catalogs, websites, and marketing efforts. This position will be located at our headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. The Product Data, Pricing & Catalog Specialist will report to the Vice President of our Marine Division. Why Medart? Employer pays 90% of employee health insurance premiums Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance 401(k) with annual employer profit-sharing contribution Advancement opportunities for outstanding performers Professional development assistance Paid time off Responsibilities Oversee and maintain product data related to marine product specifications, pricing, dimensions, movement, vendor information, UPCs, categories, and related product details Maintain product data within our ERP system, extracting and organizing data in Excel as needed Support catalog structure, product categorization, indexing, and item organization for printed and digital catalog use Assist with the organization and structure of marketing materials, product flyers, new product information, and vendor-provided selling tools Research and compare industry-specific pricing, product information, competitive items, and replacement parts Assist with pricing updates, pricing reviews, margin analysis, and vendor cost comparisons Develop and follow processes to ensure product data is complete, accurate, and consistent across internal systems, catalogs, websites, and marketing materials Utilize Excel and other vital tools to organize, analyze, and report product, pricing, and catalog-related information Collaborate with purchasing, sales, marketing, customer service, and leadership to support product setup, catalog accuracy, and data-driven decisions Create and present user-friendly reports to assist leadership in decision making Interpret data and work with leadership and other departments to achieve company goals Qualifications and Competencies Bachelor's degree, preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience as a product data specialist, preferred Marine industry experience, preferred Good research, data management, and statistical analysis skills Detail oriented Experience entering, monitoring and reporting data Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, a strong emphasis specifically with Excel Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening Excellent problem-solving skills Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently, multi-task, and work within deadlines Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

From $68,000.00 per year
