Job Description

Summary In this position you will support Bayside Distributing, LLC's Sales Department. This role will have several challenging and exciting functions with room to grow. The Beer Sales Administrator will be responsible for the complete pricing process from analysis, execution, and communication to tracking. The position works closely with Senior Sales Management, Accounting, and the Supplier Network to ensure proper records are maintained and company margin requirements are met. This role supports the sales team by creating innovative ways to track and measure various sales and distribution goals and provides additional assistance as requested. Pricing Maintain and update price lists, databases, and promotional pricing in the VIP system. Maintain monthly price lists, alphabetized, changes, categorized, close outs, etc. Maintain FOB's in the system for implementation into the master calendar, inventory reconciliation. Work with management on new item set up and communicate information to support position for record keeping systems to ensure pricing, freight, and tax information is correct and accurate. Support the sales team by generating, reviewing, and sending accurate pricing and pricing schedules. Monitor competitor pricing and communicates pricing to our suppliers. Evaluate costs and margins to ensure profitability, according to company standards. Make recommendations as needed. Perform regular audits to ensure price integrity and that pricing complies with company policies. Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, finance, and suppliers to communicate price adjustments and strategy, according to company policies.
Depletion Allowance:
Verify all reimbursements to make sure our company is fully compensated. Sales Support Execute VIP sales reconciliation, working internally and externally to correct discrepancies. Manage Karma applications. Establish compliance through release letters, territory appointments with regulatory agencies. Assist Sales Management team with special product launches and initiatives. Run sales reports and conducts special projects as assigned. Proactively identifies, recommends, and implements process changes to streamline work flow and increase efficiency, accuracy and standardization. Provide general office support as needed including back-up phone coverage, vacation coverage. Maintain professional and industry knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing industry networks. Consistently conducts self with professionalism and takes initiative and ownership to overcome obstacles and achieve results for the sales team. Experience/Skills Associates degree with a preferred emphasis in business, mathematics, or finance. Equivalent job experience to formal education accepted. Strong proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) with advanced skills on Excel required. Experience with VIP systems (like Encompass Tech, Dimensional Insight, Vistaar Tech or Vistex) desired Demonstrated solid problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail; solid analytical, and exceptional organizational and time management skills. Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and deal effectively with interruptions Solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication. Willingness to work as part of a team. Experience with maintaining confidential data and information; ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy; and maintain positive working relationships Flexibility to work extended and non-traditional hours when needed to support business events and priorities.
Pay:
$27.00 - $29.00 per hour
