- Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Printing Estimator.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with numbers, and managing project details in a fast-paced environment. As a Printing Estimator, you will prepare accurate and competitive pricing for custom print and signage projects based on customer specifications. Because many projects are unique, pricing is not always straightforward or "black and white," so the right candidate must be comfortable thinking critically, asking questions, and adapting to different job requirements. You will work closely with customers, vendors, sales, prepress, and production teams to ensure quotes are accurate, realistic, and delivered on time. Key Responsibilities Review customer specifications and project details to prepare accurate cost estimates and pricing Communicate directly with customers regarding quotes, project information, and timelines Work closely with production and prepress teams to verify capabilities, materials, and turnaround times Research and compare vendor pricing for outsourced products and services Manage multiple quotes and projects while meeting deadlines Maintain organized records, pricing templates, and estimating information Assist with updating estimating systems and internal pricing processes Learn company products, materials, and workflows quickly Support other areas of the shop when needed in a team-oriented environment What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work through complex or custom pricing situations Quick learner with strong problem-solving abilities Good math and analytical skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects at once Strong written and verbal communication skills Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented attitude Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Required Qualifications 2+ years of customer service experience; estimating, printing, signage, or production experience preferred Basic understanding of printing or signage processes is helpful, but willingness to learn is equally important Proficiency with computers and standard office software Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team Preferred Qualifications Experience in print estimating, signage, or a related industry Familiarity with estimating or workflow software Knowledge of wide-format printing, vinyl, banners, or custom signage products We value employees who are dependable, adaptable, organized, and willing to continue learning.
