Pricebook Coordinator / Retail Analyst

Milo C. Cockerham, Inc. is looking for a Pricebook/Retail Analyst to join its Corporate team in Galax, VA. The ideal candidate has a background in retail pricing, has an eye for detail, enjoys continuously improving processes, and possesses strong computer and analytical skills. Essential Functions:

• Daily maintenance of various pricing, which currently includes: Pricebook database to capture accurate item numbers, UPC's, cost & retails across our 8 convenience store locations and wholesale division Garage/shop parts and service pricing, including canned jobs Restaurant point-of-sale pricing—Pizza Inn/TCBY location
• Primary support to users at each retail location in submitting their daily sales and purchases
• Monitor inventory levels, developing forecasting and order recommendations
• Support promotional rollouts, from initial recommendations to providing end-result analytics
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Provide recurring and ad hoc retail reporting
• Identify and communicate category margin and process improvement opportunities

Qualifications:

Strong retail pricing experience and understanding Keen attention to detail High level of technical skills using Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools Experience with data analysis and reporting Well organized with ability to manage competing priorities quickly and accurately Strong analytical problem-solving skills
