May 1 - October 1 Training begins: Mid - April What We're Looking For We want individuals who: Love interacting with people Are outgoing and comfortable speaking with everyone who walks by Can stay organized in a fast-paced environment Can help guests board efficiently and safely Represent Anchorage Trolley with friendliness, confidence, and enthusiasm Requirements Comfortable standing for long hours and working outdoors Strong people skills — able to engage with guests from all walks of life Dependable and honest work ethic Ability to lift 50 lbs Must be able to read and write in English Weekend and holiday availability required Good communication, memory, and multitasking skills Ability to work in fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure situations Good vision, hearing, coordination, and judgment Ambassador Responsibilities Serve as the face of Anchorage Trolley throughout the day Sell tickets and assist with walk-up guests Create and manage reservations Track online bookings in real time Greet and assist guests while loading and unloading Keep accurate counts of available seats for each departure Hand out flyers and speak with every passerby — everyone is a potential customer Assist drivers with preparing the trolley for the next tour Help wash Trolley Exteriors Maintain a positive, team-focused attitude Have FUN while helping guests fall in love with Anchorage! Position Summary Anchorage Trolley Tours is looking for enthusiastic Ambassadors to be the face of our operation. Ambassadors sell tickets, greet guests, answer questions, manage reservations, and help keep everything running smoothly at our loading area.
