Full-Time, Direct Hire About the Opportunity HireNow Staffing is partnering with an innovative life sciences software company that is redefining how pharmaceutical organizations accelerate discovery using AI, automation, and robotics. We are seeking a seasoned Engagement Manager to own strategic customer relationships and lead complex deployments of their scientific platform across top-tier biopharma organizations. This is a high-visibility, customer-facing leadership role where scientific fluency, executive presence, and operational excellence all matter. The right candidate will navigate seamlessly between conversations with lab scientists and C-suite stakeholders, ensuring each engagement delivers measurable scientific and commercial value. Key Responsibilities Candidates must demonstrate experience in the following areas to be considered: Own the Full Customer Lifecycle Lead customer relationships from pre-sale support through deployment, adoption, expansion, and long-term value creation. Serve as the primary point of contact for executive sponsors, scientific leaders, and operational stakeholders. Translate Scientific Needs into Deployment Roadmaps Assess scientific workflows, challenges, and bottlenecks across customer labs. Develop structured deployment plans with clear milestones, success metrics, and value drivers. Manage Complex, Multi-Threaded Engagements Coordinate across internal engineering, product, and scientific teams to ensure seamless execution. Manage multiple concurrent deployments with precision and accountability. Define and Track Customer Success Metrics Build business cases, adoption frameworks, and scalable playbooks that inform future engagements and product evolution. Measure ROI, utilization, and performance against jointly defined goals. Communicate Across All Levels Engage seamlessly with VP-level and C-suite leaders on strategy and outcomes. Shift into tactical discussions with lab teams to troubleshoot, clarify requirements, and ensure successful platform usage. Champion Continuous Improvement Capture customer feedback and convert insights into actionable recommendations for Product and Engineering. Help refine engagement models and internal processes for long-term scalability. Preferred Qualifications Strongly Emphasized Candidates with the following credentials will be prioritized for interviews: Technical life sciences foundation with 2+ years of hands-on wet lab experience (academia or industry). 3+ years in a client-facing role within management consulting (MBB, LEK strongly preferred), biopharma strategy, business development, or technical deployment functions. Proven track record leading complex, multi-stakeholder customer engagements where scientific, operational, and commercial priorities overlap. Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and articulate scientific value in business terms. Experience functioning within high-growth, high-ambiguity environments comfortable building structure from scratch, making decisions quickly, and operating autonomously. Ability to work onsite in San Francisco 5 days per week and travel 25-50% to major biopharma hubs (Boston, San Diego, Seattle, etc.).Bonus Points:
