Preferred qualifications:
10 years of experience in executive-level advisory, digital transformation consulting, or senior customer-facing technical roles. Experience in management consulting or professional services, focusing on digital transformation, cloud strategy, or enterprise architecture. Ability to navigate highly ambiguous problem spaces, applying a hypothesis-driven, consultative approach to define and solve customer issues. Ability to present solutions aligned to goals and influence key stakeholders including the C-suite, Vice Presidents, etc. About the job As a Principal Strategist within the Strategic Customer Engagement team, you will serve as a leader in C-suite advisory, operating out of our "Cloud Space" innovation hubs. These centers are designed to show our customers how Google Cloud can help them accelerate digital transformation and build what's next. Your primary goal will be to deepen executive relationships, accelerate sales, and drive consumption by creating collaborative environments where customers can envision and design enterprise-grade cloud solutions. You are a master facilitator, comfortable navigating the ambiguity of open-ended strategy sessions and whiteboarding workshops. Rather than focusing solely on return on investment, you help CxO executives move toward co-designing transformational opportunities. You will utilize immersive demos as catalysts for deeper, consultative discovery, defining a customer's core business issues before scoping specific solutions. You will be responsible for designing and scaling custom engagement methodologies for accounts, ensuring that every session translates the latest technology breakthroughs into actionable, business-centric strategies. Thriving in a flexible, ever-changing environment, you will work with a deeply cross-functional team including marketing, sales, and industry experts to identify and land compelling narratives. You are equally comfortable designing reusable engagement playbooks to prototype concepts; you believe in "showing, not telling." Above all, you will inspire by example, mentoring other team members and aligning stakeholder teams to create compelling solutions. By leveraging Google's technology, you will help our customers move beyond the status quo to achieve true business transformation. It's an exciting time to join Google Cloud's Go-To-Market team, leading the AI revolution for businesses worldwide. You'll excel by leveraging Google's brand credibility—a legacy built on inventing foundational technologies and proven at scale. We'll provide you with the world's most advanced AI portfolio, including frontier Gemini models, and the complete Vertex AI platform, helping you to solve business problems. We're a collaborative culture providing direct access to DeepMind's engineering and research minds, empowering you to solve customer challenges. Join us to be the catalyst for our mission, drive customer success, and define the new cloud era—the market is yours. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$204,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Learn more about benefits at Google. Responsibilities Design and deliver high-impact executive workshops, open-ended strategic discovery sessions, and live technology demos of the latest Google Cloud solutions to inspire executives, technical staff, and business decision makers in Cloud Space. Collaborate with Cloud go-to-market (GTM) teams on a scaled portfolio of workshop offerings, playbooks, and engagement methodologies tailored for executive (CxO) audiences, drawing from a background in management consulting or professional services. Partner with Googlers across Sales, Engineering, and Marketing to help drive the development of compelling new demos, content, and technology showcases. Mentor and develop a global community of strategists to deliver in-region offerings, and continuously nurture for feedback and patterns that can be quickly fed back into our solutions.
