Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos, highlighting craftsmanship and design details Assist customers with selecting jewelry pieces that match their style and preferences, upselling when appropriate Maintain attractive visual merchandising and ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and organized Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations Stock shelves, manage inventory levels, and participate in regular stock replenishment activities Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting remote customers Support sales goals through effective communication skills, upselling techniques, and product knowledge Skills Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments, preferably with supervising or leadership responsibilities Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about jewelry features and care Experience in merchandising, stocking, and maintaining an organized sales floor Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor when interacting via phone or in person Prior experience in grocery store or retail settings is advantageous but not required; a positive attitude is essential Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction Join us as Mary Janes as our Pandora Jewelry Brand Ambassador and become part of a passionate team dedicated to inspiring self-expression through beautiful jewelry.
