An independent and locally owned restaurant and catering group with a 30+ year track record of success, NHG is seeking an experienced Catering & Event Sales Manager to support our sales team located in South Bend and Elkhart, Indiana. The ideal candidate must demonstrate exceptional and timely communication, attention to detail, commitment to unwavering customer service, professional appearance and decorum, and proven track-record of high-volume sales and event management. Catering & Event Sales Managers are responsible for soliciting new business and cultivating and stewarding relationships with existing clients in order to achieve revenue goals. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Achieve budgeted revenue and sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Create BEOs using catering software and present to clients for approval Support clients in all aspects of event planning and provide outstanding customer service from planning through event execution Lead site tours with prospective clients Review menu options to align with clients wants and needs Coordinate and assist with banquet menu pricing and revenue minimums using current competitive data Collaborate with Catering Managers and their teams to create and ensure high-quality levels of services are achieved Assist with execution of the event Identify and cultivate new business prospects/clients in the South Bend-Elkhart region
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends Computer literate with moderate to complex systems including Microsoft Suite, Total Party Planner (TPP), and social media Experience in Food & Beverage industry is preferred Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve client concerns Sales experience
