Patient Advocate | Full Time Patient Advocate Reports to: Director of Retail Do you have a passion for helping people navigate life-changing healthcare decisions? As a Patient Advocate with Speakeasy, you'll be on the front lines of expanding patient access to medical cannabis in Kentucky. This position supports patient card drives at multiple locations across the state, and also assists with marketing events and canvassing efforts to educate prospective patients and sign them up for future drives, ensuring every individual feels welcomed, informed, and supported. Key Responsibilities of the Role Event Coordination & Logistics Assist the Community Engagement Manager in planning and executing patient drives at multiple locations Schedule and confirm event spaces, practitioners, and event staff Manage event logistics, including supply management, setup, and breakdown Track attendance, gather feedback, and submit event reports to leadership On-Site Patient Support Welcome patients, answer questions, and guide them through the card application process Communicate effectively with staff, practitioners, and patients during events Represent the brand with professionalism, empathy, and enthusiasm Marketing & Community Outreach Support marketing events and community outreach that raise awareness of medical cannabis access Canvass target communities to educate prospective patients and sign them up for upcoming card drives Build and maintain a pipeline of interested patients to drive attendance at future events Adaptability & Problem-Solving Respond quickly to changing needs or unexpected challenges during events Take initiative when needed, while following the direction of leadership What You Bring to the

Job Requirements Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree + 2 years of experience in a relevant field (event coordination, patient services, or customer service preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Eligibility Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be 21 years of age or older Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be able to pass a background check Must be willing to obtain a Notary Public commission Must be located in or willing to travel frequently throughout Kentucky Role-Specific Details Event Execution Coordinate patient drive schedules and confirm key details in advance Manage event setup and breakdown, ensuring a smooth flow for patients and practitioners Travel & Scheduling Travel regularly to events across multiple locations Work evenings and weekends as needed Administrative Support Complete post-event reporting and feedback tracking Perform remote administrative tasks between events Position Location Field-based across Kentucky, with travel to multiple locations for patient drives Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry event supplies and materials (up to approximately 25 to 30 lbs) Ability to stand, walk, and remain on your feet for extended periods during events and canvassing Ability to set up and break down event spaces, including moving tables, signage, and supplies Ability to travel by vehicle for extended periods between event locations Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
