We're growing fast and need passionate people to help spread the word. About the role As a Community Growth Specialist, you'll be the face of Wayvers on the ground — promoting our ride-sharing app to potential riders and drivers in Detroit, Ann Arbor, and nearby cities. You'll attend local events, connect with commuters, students, and businesses, and help people understand why Wayvers is the smarter ride-share choice in their area. What you'll do Promote the Wayvers ride-share app at events, college campuses, transit hubs, and community spaces Drive app downloads and sign-ups from both riders and drivers Explain how Wayvers works and how it compares to other ride-share apps Create social media content showcasing Wayvers in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area Distribute promotional materials and referral codes to boost signups Track and report outreach performance and referral metrics weekly What we're looking for Outgoing, self-motivated personality with strong communication skills Familiarity with ride-share apps like Uber or Lyft is a big plus Active on social media and comfortable creating short-form content Reliable transportation to cover the Detroit/Ann Arbor metro area Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Smartphone required (iPhone or Android) Perks Performance bonuses for exceeding rider and driver sign-up goals Flexible scheduling — set your own hours Free Wayvers ride credits Opportunity to grow into a regional marketing lead role
