Marketing Promoter Barrel & Brew - 5.0 New Milford, NJ Job Details Contract Up to $100,000 a year 21 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Organizational skills Content management TikTok Facebook Instagram Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and highly motivated Bar Promoter to help drive late-night traffic and create excitement around our venue on Friday and Saturday nights. This role is ideal for someone with a strong local network, experience in nightlife, hospitality, marketing, or event promotion, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing attendance, attracting new customers, encouraging repeat visits, and helping establish our venue as one of the premier late-night destinations in the Bergen County area. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Acquisition & Promotion Actively promote the venue throughout New Milford and surrounding communities, including Bergenfield, Dumont, River Edge, Oradell, Paramus, Hackensack, Teaneck, and neighboring towns. Develop relationships with local residents, young professionals, social groups, sports teams, and nightlife patrons. Drive awareness and attendance for Friday and Saturday night events, specials, entertainment, and themed nights. Recruit and coordinate groups for birthdays, celebrations, reunions, after-parties, and special occasions. Utilize personal and professional networks to bring consistent traffic into the venue. Social Media Marketing Create and share engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, and other relevant platforms. Promote upcoming events, drink specials, live entertainment, DJ nights, and promotions. Generate excitement through stories, posts, reels, and event announcements. Encourage guests to tag, share, and engage with the venue online. Assist management in expanding the venue's digital presence and local brand recognition. Event Promotion & Execution Help plan and execute successful weekend promotions and special events. Work with management to develop creative concepts that attract late-night crowds. Coordinate guest lists, VIP reservations, and group bookings. Maintain a visible presence during events and interact with guests throughout the evening. Ensure guests feel welcomed and encouraged to return. Community Outreach Build partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and community groups. Identify opportunities for cross-promotions and collaborations. Represent the venue professionally within the community. Stay informed about local nightlife trends and competitor activities. Customer Experience Greet and engage guests in a professional and friendly manner. Help create a fun, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere. Gather customer feedback and communicate insights to management. Encourage repeat business through relationship-building and exceptional guest interaction. Performance Expectations The ideal promoter will be expected to: Consistently increase Friday and Saturday night attendance. Generate measurable growth in sales and guest traffic. Bring new customers into the venue each weekend. Develop a strong database of repeat guests and regular customers. Successfully promote special events and themed nights. Maintain an active social media presence that supports venue growth. Serve as a positive ambassador for the business and its brand. QualificationsPreferred Experience Previous experience in nightlife promotion, hospitality, event marketing, restaurant/bar marketing, or entertainment promotion. Strong understanding of Bergen County nightlife and local demographics. Established local network and ability to attract groups. Experience managing social media accounts and online promotions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Skills & Attributes Outgoing, confident, and personable personality. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet attendance goals. Professional appearance and demeanor. Strong sales and networking abilities. Creative mindset with the ability to develop promotional ideas. Reliable transportation preferred. Schedule Friday Nights Saturday Nights Additional promotional activities during the week as needed Compensation Compensation may include: Performance pay Commission based on attendance growth, event success, or sales targets Additional incentives for achieving promotional goals What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can do more than simply post on social media.
