AbqTours.fun 1. Ghost Tour Guide (Afternoon / Night Shift — Independent Contractor) We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals to lead engaging nighttime Ghost Tours of Old Town. This role focuses on the spooky side of Albuquerque's history and requires a deep commitment to storytelling and customer service.

Schedule & Availability:

Shift Time:

3:30 PM to 10:00 PM — Midnight on Friday and Saturdays (dependent on bookings).

Required:

Must be available to work both weekdays and weekends.

Open/Flexible:

Available 4 to 5 days a week, including holidays, with the ability to respond to short-notice scheduling (within 2 hours) on your scheduled days. Open availability is key!

Mandatory Peak Season:

Must be available for the entire months of March, April, May, June, July, August, and October.

Commitment:

A minimum commitment of 2 years is required.

Physical & General Requirements:

Physical Stamina:

Must be able to walk up to 2 miles in varying weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, etc.).

Transportation:

Reliable transportation is required.

Professionalism:

High level of reliability and dependability is essential.

Personality:

Must be genuinely outgoing and enjoy interacting with diverse groups of people.

Age:

18 or older.

Skills & Experience:

Storytelling:

Proven public speaking or entertainment experience (acting, storytelling) is a major asset.

Customer Service:

Strong experience in hospitality or tourism is beneficial.

Digital Familiarity:

Proficient with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).

Computer Skills:

Basic proficiency in email, scheduling, and data entry. 2. Ghost Tour Assistant (Evening Shift — Independent Contractor) We are looking for reliable and dedicated individuals to provide essential logistical support for our ghost tours. You are the "eyes and ears" on the street, ensuring our paranormal walks run smoothly and safely.

Schedule & Availability:

Shift Time:

Starts at 7:30 PM and ends usually by 10:30 PM, running as late as 12:00 AM (midnight) on some weekend nights.

Mandatory Peak Season:

Must be available for the entire months of March, April, May, June, July, August, and October.

A minimum commitment of 2 years is required.

Open/Flexible:

Available 4 to 5 nights a week, including weekends and holidays. Ability to respond to short-notice scheduling (within 2 hours) on scheduled days is required.

Capable of walking up to 2 miles while carrying up to 10 pounds of equipment outdoors in various weather.

Role:

Aids guides with equipment, manages group flow, and prioritizes the safety of both guests and guides during nighttime tours.
