We specialize in premium concentrates, vapes, infused products, and craft cannabis manufacturing for New York's growing legal market. Built in the Finger Lakes and rooted in quality, compliance, and real cannabis culture, FLX Extracts is expanding its wholesale presence across the state. We are looking for a Brand Ambassador to support our Albany and Hudson Valley territory by building relationships with dispensary teams, educating budtenders, supporting in-store activations, and helping make sure FLX Extracts products are represented accurately and professionally in the market. This is a part-time, field-based, hourly role. The majority of work will take place on the road and inside licensed dispensaries throughout the assigned territory. This role is a great fit for someone who understands cannabis, enjoys talking to people, and can bring polished, reliable brand representation into retail environments.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Brand Ambassador is the face of FLX Extracts in the field. In this role, you will visit licensed dispensaries across the Albany and Hudson Valley region to build relationships with retail staff, educate teams on FLX products, support merchandising, gather market feedback, and help drive brand awareness. You will be expected to manage your schedule, route, and follow-up with professionalism and accountability. This role may include weekday dispensary visits, weekend pop-ups, product education sessions, and brand activations depending on business needs.
OPERATING AREA / ASSIGNED TERRITORY
This role will primarily support licensed dispensaries in the Albany and Hudson Valley markets, including surrounding communities in the Capital Region, Hudson Valley, and nearby New York adult-use cannabis markets as assigned. Brand Ambassadors are not expected to report to the Geneva facility daily. Most work will take place on the road, inside licensed dispensaries, and at scheduled pop-ups, product education visits, and brand activations within the assigned territory. Estimated hours are approximately 10 to 20 hours per week, depending on availability, event schedules, dispensary needs, and business priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct regular visits to licensed dispensaries within the Albany and Hudson Valley territory to build and maintain relationships with retail staff, managers, and buyers. Educate budtenders and retail teams on FLX Extracts products, including concentrates, vapes, infused products, strain profiles, terpene content, extraction methods, effects, and brand positioning. Represent FLX Extracts during in-store product demonstrations, pop-ups, launch events, and brand activations. Ensure FLX Extracts products are properly merchandised, displayed, and represented on dispensary shelves. Distribute approved branded materials, point-of-sale collateral, product information, and samples where permitted by applicable regulation and company policy. Relationship Building Develop and maintain strong working relationships with dispensary owners, managers, purchasing decision-makers, and budtender teams. Act as a field-level point of contact for retail partners regarding brand questions, product information, and support. Gather and communicate feedback from retail partners regarding product performance, customer preferences, competitor activity, and market trends. Support long-term brand loyalty by being consistent, knowledgeable, responsive, and easy to work with. Territory Management Plan and manage your weekly route and schedule across the Albany and Hudson Valley territory to maximize store coverage and time in market. Track and report store visits, conversations, follow-ups, and key account activity in the company's CRM or designated tracking system. Coordinate with leadership, operations, and sales teams on account priorities, new store openings, product launches, and reorder opportunities. Identify opportunities to expand FLX Extracts' retail presence within the territory. Events and Activations Represent FLX Extracts at in-store events, industry events, trade shows, community events, and other brand opportunities as needed. Support execution of new product launches, dispensary activations, and field marketing initiatives. Collaborate with the internal team on activation concepts, retail feedback, and field-level opportunities. Reporting and Communication Provide regular updates to leadership on territory activity, wins, challenges, and opportunities. Submit weekly recaps of dispensary visits, budtender feedback, competitive intelligence, and market observations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in all company systems. Communicate professionally and proactively with internal team members and retail partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Must be 21 years of age or older. Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation suitable for regular field travel across the Albany and Hudson Valley territory. Comfortable spending time on the road visiting dispensaries in person. Availability for approximately 10 to 20 hours per week, with some evening or weekend availability preferred for pop-ups and activations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with retail teams. Self-motivated and capable of managing your own schedule, route, and priorities without daily oversight. Professional, personable, and comfortable representing the brand in a customer-facing environment. Familiarity with the New York cannabis market, including dispensary operations, product categories, and the regulatory environment. Ability to learn and clearly explain cannabis product information, including concentrates, vapes, infused products, terpene profiles, extraction methods, and consumption formats. Ability to lift and carry promotional materials, product displays, and merchandise up to 30 pounds. Preferred Prior experience in cannabis retail, brand ambassador work, field marketing, outside sales, or wholesale cannabis support. Existing relationships with dispensary operators, retail managers, buyers, or budtender teams in Albany, the Capital Region, the Hudson Valley, or nearby New York cannabis markets. Knowledge of cannabis concentrates, solventless products, hydrocarbon extraction, vape products, infused products, strains, terpenes, and product positioning. Experience using CRM tools, field tracking systems, or account reporting platforms. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Starting at $23.00 per hour
Mileage:
Reimbursed at the current IRS standard mileage rate

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is a field-based role. The majority of your time will be spent traveling to and working inside licensed dispensaries across the Albany and Hudson Valley territory. Frequent driving is required. Must be comfortable with regular travel across a multi-county territory. Must be able to stand for extended periods during in-store visits, product education sessions, and events. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, including promotional materials, displays, and merchandise. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for events, activations, and industry functions.
