If you like talking to people and are comfortable working in the tobacco industry, this is the job for you!!! We are looking for a Sales Promotional Associate who radiates enthusiasm as they engage face-to-face with customers to promote our premium products to increase brand awareness. In this role, you aren't just selling a product; you are managing brand perception, educating consumers, and driving volume at the point of purchase. You will be responsible for engaging with adult consumers, explaining product differentiators, and executing high-impact sales strategies within established retail accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct Engagement:
Approach and engage consumers in retail environments to build brand awareness and loyalty.
Sales Conversion:
Drive immediate sales growth by educating customers on product features, benefits, and current promotional offers.
Retail Execution:
Ensure our products are prominently displayed, well-stocked, and priced correctly according to brand standards.
Data Reporting:
Utilize mobile apps/software to track daily sales, consumer feedback, and competitor activity.
WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT
Workplace will consist of different locations, varying between indoor and outdoor promotions in varying conditions. Majority of work will require daily travel in WNY. Will have to carry and set up table and displays in various indoor and/or outdoor environment. Some light office work may be required.
ATTENDANCE
Candidate must be flexible with dates and times. Some promotions may last longer than the scheduled hours. Candidate must be willing to stay until the promotion has completely ended.
TEAM WORK
Interact respectfully and appropriately with each member of the office/other staff. You are expected to treat each other with respect and be courteous to one another. Educate staff on operational and policy changes and updates. Communicate with Managers to network ideas to create more market share and profitability. Be aware of and maintain the Chain of Command at all times. Assist and train others in areas or subjects in which you are more experienced or educated. Professionalism:
Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently without direct supervision.
Communication:
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to "read the room" and adapt your pitch.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods and travel between various retail locations daily.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older (or the legal age to work in the specific location). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or promotional modeling is a plus. Must be well groomed and presentable to the general public. What's In It For You?
