is an independent food brokerage firm celebrating their 30th year in 2025. ISP takes pride in introducing restaurants and grocery stores to some of the premier independent manufacturers today. We are seeking a Part time business development representative that will be responsible for calling on and presenting products to, Pizza shops, Italian restaurants, Catering companies, grocery stores, delis and butcher shops. The main goal of the position is to hunt for new business for clients that work with ISP and to find new business partners for the firm. We are looking for and eager individual ready to break into sales. The candidate must be confident positive. Having a history of working in Pizza/Italian food, restaurant, or Grocery is a plus. Previous Business Development Representatives have used this position as a jumping point into greater positions in the industry. Duties Engage with customers at events to promote our brands and products effectively. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.. Collect data on customer interactions and feedback for analysis. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns. Participate in public speaking engagements to represent the brand at various functions. Assist in food service activities during promotional events when necessary. Foster positive relationships with customers to encourage brand loyalty. Requirements Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences through public speaking. Experience in conducting product demos and providing customer service. Familiarity with social media management tools and strategies is a plus. Background in food service is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data collection tasks. A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Willingness to travel for events as needed.
