Local helps local businesses grow by putting their brand directly in front of the right homes. Through our targeted direct mail publications, we connect trusted local businesses with high-quality homeowners across Wake and Johnston counties. We're looking for a Brand Ambassador to help us build relationships with local business owners and grow our presence throughout the Triangle. This is an excellent opportunity for a current college student, recent graduate, or early-career professional interested in marketing, communications, business development, public relations, advertising, or entrepreneurship. This is a relationship-focused role centered around meeting people, building connections, representing the Yay! Local brand, and helping local businesses learn how we can help them grow. You do not need previous sales experience. We are willing to train the right person. What You'll Do Community Outreach & Business Development Visit local businesses and introduce them to Yay! Local Build relationships with local business owners, managers, and decision-makers Research local businesses and identify potential advertising partners Schedule introductory meetings between business owners and our leadership team Make follow-up calls, emails, and texts to prospective clients Attend local networking events, community events, and business functions when applicable Maintain prospect and client information in our CRM Marketing & Brand Representation Represent Yay! Local professionally throughout the community Help local businesses understand our advertising and marketing solutions Assist with client communications and relationship management Help prepare marketing materials, presentations, and outreach campaigns Support special marketing and business development projects What We're Looking For We're more interested in attitude, personality, and communication skills than previous sales experience.
