We specialize in website design, managed website services, search engine optimization, website hosting, and digital marketing solutions that help organizations grow their online presence and generate new business opportunities. We are looking for an energetic, relationship-focused Brand Ambassador / Sales Associate to help us expand our reach throughout the Gulf Coast. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, building relationships, meeting new people, and helping businesses improve their online presence. Position Overview As a Brand Ambassador / Sales Associate, you will represent SmarterWeb within the local business community, identify opportunities for new business, and help organizations discover how our managed website services can improve their marketing efforts and online visibility. This is a highly relationship-driven position that combines networking, lead generation, sales, and basic website consulting. You will regularly attend networking events, chamber functions, business associations, and community events while maintaining relationships with business owners and decision-makers. The ideal candidate understands business websites, has basic experience with WordPress, and can confidently discuss topics such as search engine optimization, website performance, Google Analytics, and online marketing strategies. Responsibilities Represent SmarterWeb at networking events, chamber meetings, trade shows, business associations, and community functions Build and maintain relationships with local business owners, executives, and decision-makers Generate new sales opportunities through networking, prospecting, referrals, cold outreach, and community engagement Educate businesses on the value of managed website services, website maintenance, SEO, hosting, and digital marketing solutions Conduct introductory consultations with prospective clients Follow up with leads and maintain accurate sales records within company systems Assist with identifying opportunities to improve client websites and online presence Collaborate with the website and marketing teams to ensure successful client onboarding Support client retention efforts through relationship management and ongoing communication Stay informed about website trends, SEO best practices, and digital marketing developments Assist with basic website content updates when needed Qualifications Required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable networking and building relationships in person Professional presentation and public speaking abilities Self-motivated with strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline Basic understanding of WordPress websites Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) Familiarity with Google Analytics and website performance metrics Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, marketing, or customer service Experience attending networking events and business functions Knowledge of website design and digital marketing concepts Experience using CRM systems Understanding of Google Business Profiles, local SEO, and online reputation management Familiarity with website hosting and website maintenance services
Pay:
$19.00 - $24.00 per hour
