This is a hybrid role—part field marketing, part content creation. You'll be the face of Root Down in dispensaries and the voice of our brand online. Key Responsibilities Brand Ambassador (In-Field) Visit dispensaries regularly to build relationships with budtenders and buyers Educate staff on Root Down products (flower, concentrates, pre-rolls) Execute in-store demos, pop-ups, and promotional events Gather feedback on products, pricing, and market trends Support product launches and merchandising Social Media / Content Manage and grow Root Down's Instagram and digital presence Create and post content (photos, videos, reels, stories) Develop weekly content calendars and campaign ideas Maintain brand voice and visual consistency Engage with followers, respond to messages, and build community Track performance metrics and adjust strategy Qualifications Experience in cannabis industry preferred (budtender, sales, marketing, etc.) Strong understanding of Washington i502 market Proven social media management experience (Instagram-focused) Comfortable creating content (iPhone or camera, basic editing skills) Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated and organized Reliable transportation required Nice to Have Existing relationships with WA dispensaries Experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar tools Photography or videography skills Knowledge of compliance guidelines for cannabis marketing Compensation Hourly + performance incentives (based on sales growth and engagement) Product samples and industry perks Flexible schedule Why Join Root Down Work directly with a respected, quality-focused cannabis brand Real influence on brand direction and growth Opportunity to grow into a larger marketing or sales role How to Apply Submit your resume and include: Links to social media accounts you've managed (if applicable) A short note on why you'd be a good fit
