This is a temporary contract opportunity supporting a collaborative marketing team responsible for planning and executing regional tradeshows and internal corporate events. This role is based in the Seattle area with a hybrid work arrangement and onsite attendance as needed for events through the end of 2026.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Marketing Events Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing regional tradeshows while supporting internal corporate events. This role manages event logistics, vendor relationships, marketing collateral, project timelines, budgets, contracts, lead generation efforts, and post-event reporting while ensuring a consistent and professional brand presence across every event. RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and execute regional tradeshows from concept through completion Coordinate event logistics, shipping, vendors, promotional materials, and marketing collateral Maintain project timelines utilizing Wrike or similar project management software Manage assigned event budgets, reconcile expenses, and review vendor and tradeshow contracts Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful event execution Analyze event performance, attendance, lead quality, and ROI while supporting company meetings, client events, and additional marketing initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of two years of tradeshow, event marketing, or large-scale event planning experience Experience managing vendors, event logistics, budgets, and multiple concurrent projects Strong project management, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management platforms such as Wrike, Asana, or Trello Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience within healthcare, healthcare technology, software, SaaS, or corporate marketing environments Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, SurveyMonkey, Allego, or Adobe Creative Cloud Experience measuring event performance, lead generation, and return on investment Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines
