Job Description

University Ministries - Student Employee Employment Type Student Employee Hourly Rate $15.00
Special Note:

All Federal Work-Study students should read the program rules and regulations located at http://www.belmont.edu/sfs/employment/fws.html Primary Duties and Responsibilities Assist with communications, written summaries, and ministry-related materials Help create and schedule social media posts Support budget tracking, spreadsheets, and administrative tasks Coordinate student notifications, reminders, and event communications Assist with student training sessions, orientation activities, and mission preparation Help welcome guests and support campus visits, ministry gatherings, and special events Encourage student engagement in missions, service opportunities, and University Ministries programs Support University Ministries staff with other projects as needed Required Qualifications Must be a Belmont student Must be a junior, senior, or higher Any major is eligible Must have participated in at least one global mission through Belmont or another organization Demonstrated interest in missions, ministry, spiritual formation, and student engagement Must be supportive of Belmont's SOUL framework: S = Seek excellence with humility O = Offer gratitude with joy U = Unleash hospitality with love L = Live the dream together with hope Strong written and verbal communication skills Organized, dependable, and able to work independently Comfortable with spreadsheets, budgeting support, and communication tools Able to interact professionally with students, staff, faculty, guests, and ministry partners Confidence in leading student trainings or speaking with groups is preferred Required Education Must be enrolled as a student at Belmont University at the Junior, Senior or higher level Required Experience Experience participating in at least one global mission (at Belmont or elsewhere).
