Smoke/Vape Job Opening - up to 36 Hours/week (Chesapeake, Hampton, Norfolk, Va Beach)

About us Area 51 Tobacco & Novelties is a well-established small business in Hampton Roads, Virginia since 2011. We pride ourselves on having great customer service and being innovative in the industry. We are looking for new members for our team as a Smoke/Vape Sales Associate at our Chesapeake, Hampton, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach store locations. This position offers up to 36 hours per week in a dynamic retail environment. Must have transportation and/or be able to travel to work in these locations in Hampton Roads as training will be at all locations for a few weeks before you have a set schedule.

Job Description :

Sales Associates will provide a high level of customer service with a professional image and conduct. This business thrives on regulars/repeat business and you MUST be friendly to customers in order to be an asset to our team. Sales Associates will also be responsible for ringing up customers, restocking products, & maintaining cleanliness.

Job Requirements :

• We are a business that sells age-restricted products so you must be at least 21 years of age to work at this business
• Must be 100% trustworthy!
• Must be friendly and have a good personality!
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons
• Customer-focused approach with a positive attitude
• Must be reliable (i.e. not someone who calls in sick every week)
• Knowledge/understanding of vapes is a big plus!
• Knowledge/understanding of tobacco products is a big plus!
• Educate customers on various smoke and vape products
• Assist customers in finding the right products to meet their needs
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
• Take direction and complete assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Demonstrate professional image and conduct.
• Maximize sales volume by ensuring merchandise is always stocked
• Manage time wisely and complete all daily tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment

PAY :

There will be a 3 week training/trial period while we decide if it is a good fit for you to be with the company. Training pay will be at $12.50/hr for the training/trial period until you are fully trained & ready to work shifts on your own, then pay will be $15/hr.
