Job Description
Motorcars Limited is seeking a highly capable Auction Concierge / Listing Specialist for our Bring a Trailer department. This person will help manage client vehicles from intake through sale by researching provenance, gathering documentation, writing compelling and accurate listings, coordinating with clients, and managing the auction process from start to finish. This is a unique role that combines vehicle knowledge, research, writing, client service, and live auction management. The ideal candidate is organized, articulate, detail-driven, and comfortable working with discerning clients and enthusiast buyers. What you'll do
- Work directly with clients consigning vehicles for Bring a Trailer
- Research vehicle history, provenance, specifications, options, records, and market context
- Gather and organize service records, ownership history, documentation, photos, and supporting materials
- Write accurate, polished, and compelling auction listings
- Coordinate vehicle preparation with photography, detailing, service, and presentation teams
- Manage listings through the auction lifecycle
- Respond to bidder questions and comments professionally, promptly, and accurately
- Assist with reserve strategy, seller communication, and post-sale coordination
- Help create a smooth, premium experience for our clients from first conversation through completed transaction Qualifications
- Excellent writing and communication skills required
- Strong research ability and attention to detail
- Automotive, collector and enthusiast vehicle knowledge strongly preferred
- Ability to identify important provenance details, factory options, and meaningful documentation
- Comfortable communicating with high-net-worth or enthusiast clients in a polished, professional manner
- Strong organizational and project-management skills
- Ability to work calmly and accurately in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience with Bring a Trailer, enthusiast auctions, collector-car sales, automotive journalism, or appraisal research is highly desirable Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience.
