Overview:

As a Leasing Agent, your primary responsibility is to showcase and lease residential properties to prospective tenants. This role demands strong interpersonal skills, a comprehensive understanding of property management, and the ability to effectively communicate with both clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

Greet and assist prospective tenants during property tours. Respond to inquiries and provide detailed information about available units, amenities, and leasing terms. Build and maintain positive relationships with current and potential tenants.

Leasing Process:

Conduct thorough and persuasive property presentations to encourage leasing. Process leasing applications, conduct background checks, and verify rental references. Explain lease terms and conditions to tenants, ensuring understanding and compliance.

Marketing and Outreach:

Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract potential tenants. Utilize various advertising platforms to promote available properties. Participate in property events and promotions to enhance visibility and leasing opportunities.

Administrative Tasks:

Maintain accurate and organized leasing records. Prepare leasing agreements, renewal documents, and other leasing-related paperwork. Collaborate with the property management team to ensure seamless tenant transitions.

Market Research:

Stay informed about local real estate market trends and competitor activities. Provide input on rental rates and leasing strategies based on market analysis.

Tenant Relations:

Address tenant concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally. Facilitate the resolution of tenant issues in collaboration with the property management team.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Proven experience in leasing or a sales-oriented role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of fair housing laws and leasing practices. Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
