Phoenix, Tucson Quarles is seeking a highly-qualified Senior Associate or Senior Counsel to join our Real Estate group in the Phoenix or Tucson office. Quarles has built a strong, Chambers-ranked real estate practice group in Phoenix of more than 30 attorneys and professionals who are part of a larger integrated national group of attorneys and professionals across the country. We represent sophisticated REITs, institutional investors and lenders, private equity investors of all stripes, developers across asset classes, start-ups, health systems, renewable energy companies, franchise companies, and more. Our team, both locally and nationally, is exceptionally collaborative, and we place a high premium on training and professional development. The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions. This candidate will draft and negotiate documents relating to the full spectrum of commercial real estate transactions, including development transactions, purchases and sales, and leases, and will work on and manage related due diligence work and closing these and other real estate transactions. This position is expected to be a full-time, salaried position, but the firm is open to discussing flexible work schedules, and alternative compensation structures in certain circumstances. The best fit will be someone who is ready to handle transactions independently, work with clients directly, and oversee associate and paralegal support when necessary.
