Commission Specialist - Arizona (Onsite)

Arizona (100% in-office position)

Commissions Department Lead About Compass At Compass, our mission is to help everyone find their place in the world. Founded in 2012, we're revolutionizing the real estate industry with an end-to-end platform that empowers residential real estate agents to deliver exceptional service to their clients. We're seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Commission Specialist to join our growing Financial Services team, supporting our Arizona markets. This role is vital to ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in commission processing for real estate transactions. You'll collaborate closely with agents, finance, brokers, and other internal partners to ensure a seamless transaction experience. What You'll Do Complete Commission Disbursement Agreements to send to Title to process commission payments to agents and manage referral payments and agent deductions. Navigate Compass systems to validate the accuracy of commission calculations and transaction data. Review and audit commission records in partnership with the Finance team. Provide responsive support to agents regarding commission payouts, deductions, and calculations. Partner with brokers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service to our agents. Research and resolve commission inquiries impacting monthly financial closings.
What We're Looking For Active Arizona Real Estate License Encouraged Experience:
3+ years in real estate transaction processing (preferred), accounting, or payroll
Education:
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) preferred but not required Excellent attention to detail with accuracy in financial data and calculations Knowledge of agent commission splits and ability to interpret contracts, closing statements, and commission agreements Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, including knowing when to escalate issues Ability to work cross-functionally with agents, brokers, finance, and compliance teams Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of agent and transaction data. High level of professionalism and accountability. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems, processes, and compensation models
Compensation & Benefits Compensation:
