Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Leasing Agent to join our vibrant property management team! Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants warmly and provide comprehensive tours of available properties, emphasizing key features and benefits. Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing detailed information about leasing options, amenities, and application procedures. Negotiate lease terms and rental agreements confidently while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and property policies. Market available units through various channels, including digital platforms, social media, and community outreach efforts to attract a diverse pool of applicants. Screen applicants thoroughly by verifying employment, rental history, creditworthiness, and conducting background checks in accordance with legal standards. Maintain organized records of leasing activities, applications, and lease agreements using property management software and administrative tools. Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate move-ins, address resident concerns promptly, and support retention initiatives. Experience Proven experience in property leasing or real estate sales, ideally within a property management environment. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively while maintaining positive relationships. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse communities. Knowledge of marketing strategies specific to real estate or property leasing to maximize occupancy rates. Familiarity with Fair Housing laws, real estate law, and property management best practices to ensure compliant operations. Prior administrative experience handling lease documentation, applicant screening processes, and customer service interactions. Organizational skills that enable managing multiple prospects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
