Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for an Estate Planning and Probate Associate Attorney who will be responsible for handling a variety of matters related to estate planning and probate administration. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of estate planning and probate law, with the ability to manage complex cases effectively. This position offers a manageable workload with work life balance in an office setting in downtown Longmont. Our tight-knit team of attorneys and staff work closely with one another and look forward to welcoming another member of our team.Duties:
Manage estate and trust administration cases from inception to resolution. Draft and review legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on estate planning strategies and options. Conduct legal research on estate and trust law issues. Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members.Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Colorado State Bar. 2-5 years of experience practicing estate planning, trust administration and probate. Strong understanding of estate planning and probate law principles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously. Residence in Longmont or nearby community.Skills:
In-depth knowledge of estate and trust administration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in legal document drafting. Ability to build rapport and maintain positive client relationships. Proficiency in legal research methods and resources.Additional Preferred Qualifications:
