The Leasing Consultant plays a pivotal role in the real estate and rental industry by serving as the primary point of contact for prospective tenants. The Leasing Consultant must effectively communicate property features, rental terms, and community benefits to match client needs with available units. Ultimately, the Leasing Consultant contributes directly to the financial success of the property by securing qualified tenants and fostering long-term resident satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience in leasing, sales, or customer service, preferably within the real estate or property management industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with diverse clients. Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with property management software and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field. Experience with CRM systems and advanced property management platforms. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and local rental regulations. Multilingual abilities to serve a diverse tenant population. Certification as a Leasing Professional (e.g., NALP or similar).

Responsibilities:

Stay informed about local rental market conditions and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations to management.
