We are looking for an All-Star leasing consultant for our Prize 200 unit luxury apartment community, Tempo|Evergreen Walk (located in South Windsor, CT). As a Leasing Consultant and a valued member of the team, you are responsible for welcoming prospective residents to the community, coordinating tours, and responding to incoming inquiries about leasing. The position will also interact with current residents regarding day-to-day matters as well as coordinating the renewals of existing leases. The Leasing Consultant will serve as a central point of communication between the Community residents, Community management, as well as community maintenance teams. This position requires you contribute regularly in a broad range of tasks that include but are not limited to administration, marketing, customer service, operations, business development, and resident relations. Essential Functions And Position Responsibilities Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community. Effectively lease apartments by touring the property with prospects as you answer questions about the numerous amenities, local community, and beautiful grounds. Drive the sale by highlighting the quality of the community and the lifestyle of our apartment homes. Ensure Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents. Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends. Maintain thorough product knowledge of property and that of major competition. Assist with marketing activities to position our property as the community of choice. Coordinate the resident application review in accordance with company guidelines. Complete lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums and other documentation as indicated on checklist. Follow up with residents from point of application, through lease process to move in day! Receive any resident inquiries, complaints, or concerns and provide timely follow up. Assist with planning. Marketing and hosting resident functions. Other duties as assigned. Education and Desired Competencies High School diploma or GED required. 1+ years' customer service experience; hospitality or apartment leasing role preferred. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to get along with diverse personalities; tactful; mature; flexible. Demonstrate support of company values and strategic drivers. Demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer service. Initiative to work independently. Ability to work as part of a team in a team environment. Must be resourceful, able to multitask and well-organized. Must present a professional image. Must be willing to work weekends. Yardi, Canva, Social Media and Microsoft Suites experience preferred.
