Responsibilities Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, including conducting property tours and upselling available units to prospective tenants. Maintain detailed records of leasing activities, tenant files, and legal documentation using Yardi or OneSite property management software. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, and other applicable laws. Handle tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts through effective conflict management strategies, and providing exceptional customer service. Coordinate property maintenance requests and oversee facilities management to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards. Prepare legal documents such as lease agreements and contracts while ensuring adherence to landlord-tenant law. Conduct regular inspections of properties to monitor condition, enforce lease terms, and facilitate necessary repairs or improvements. Assist in marketing efforts by engaging in sales activities, including upselling amenities or additional services to current tenants and prospects. Maintain accurate data entry, filing systems, and office administrative tasks such as phone etiquette, filing documents, and managing correspondence efficiently. Skills Extensive experience with property management systems such as Appfolio, Rent Redi, Yardi or OneSite for leasing and administrative functions. Real estate license to rent units Strong knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law to ensure compliance. Proven ability in sales, negotiation, conflict management, and customer relationship management to foster positive tenant interactions. Excellent legal administrative experience with contracts, lease agreements, and related documentation. Skilled in property maintenance coordination, facilities management, data entry, filing systems, and office administration. Exceptional communication skills with professional phone etiquette and customer service orientation. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with quickbooks is required as well for basic
