Job Description:

We are seeking a Leasing Associate with experience leasing commercial properties to join our client's team! This role acts as the vital link between our organization and business tenants, managing the leasing process to maximize occupancy and rental income. They are responsible for marketing vacancies, conducting property tours for prospective tenants, negotiating lease terms, screening applicants, and facilitating the move-in process.

Core Responsibilities Marketing & Tenant Prospecting:

Advertise available commercial spaces (office, retail, industrial) and conduct cold calls to identify potential business tenants.

Property Showings:

Tour properties with prospective tenants, highlighting amenities, location benefits, and suitability for their business.

Lease Negotiations:

Negotiate lease terms, including rental rates, TI (tenant improvement) allowances, and lease duration, ensuring a fair return on investment for owners.

Applicant Screening:

Review business plans, financial statements, and credit reports to qualify tenants.

Documentation & Closing:

Prepare, review, and execute lease agreements, ensuring compliance with zoning regulations and company standards.

Relationship Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries and fostering long-term relationships to encourage renewals. J Kent Staffing +3

Key Qualifications Experience:

Proven experience in commercial real estate, property management, or sales.

Skills:

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
