At Family Nest North Central Florida, we specialize in high-quality estate sales that often feature antiques, collectibles, vintage décor, and one-of-a-kind treasures. With a reputation for professional, respectful service, we help clients transition through life changes by honoring the stories behind their belongings. We're seeking knowledgeable and enthusiastic Estate Sale Assistants who have a background or passion for antiques and vintage items.
Job Summary:
As a Part-time-Estate Sale Assistant , you'll help stage and manage sales that frequently include valuable or historically significant pieces. Your eye for detail and familiarity with vintage and antique items will enhance the customer experience and support accurate pricing, presentation, and care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in organizing, staging, and pricing household and collectible items Identify and appropriately present antiques and vintage pieces Provide informed customer service, answering questions about item history and value Help with event setup and breakdown, including moving furniture and displays Monitor merchandise and assist with loss prevention Process sales and handle transactions (training provided if needed)
Preferred Qualifications:
Must be able to travel to non-local job sites(Ocala, The Villages)-carpooling is an option Knowledge or interest in antiques, vintage décor, collectibles, or resale markets Previous experience in estate sales, antique shops, auctions, or related settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Physically able to lift up to [30-50] lbs and stand for extended periods Weekend availability and access to reliable transportation Why Join Us?
