This role is essential for attracting and retaining residents by showcasing our communities and delivering exceptional service. You will support two of our properties: The Dunes (199 units) and Indian Harbour (74 units). The weekly schedule is split with 3 days at The Dunes and 2 days at Indian Harbour .
Duties Leasing & Sales Tours:
Welcome prospective residents and conduct property tours to highlight unique community features.
Closings:
Explain lease agreements, terms, and policies clearly to secure new leases.
Processing:
Accurately prepare and process all leasing paperwork in compliance with legal requirements.
Goals:
Meet or exceed specific leasing and occupancy targets for both properties.
Resident Services & Collections Customer Care:
Provide outstanding service to current and prospective residents, addressing inquiries promptly.
Rent Collection:
Collect and process rental payments, security deposits, and fees.
Delinquency:
Actively follow up with and collect rent from tenants who are late or have not paid.
Maintenance Support:
Assist residents with maintenance requests and coordinate with staff for timely resolution.
Marketing & Administration Outreach:
Assist in implementing marketing strategies and creating promotional materials like social media posts or flyers.
Vetting:
Process rental applications, verify information, and conduct background checks.
Inspections:
Regularly inspect available units to ensure they are move-in ready.
Record Keeping:
Maintain organized resident files, leasing records, and community reports. Requirements 2-3 Years experience in leasing or Sales Must have Saturday availability Strong knowledge of Landlord-Tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing policies, and legal administrative procedures. Proficiency in Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software; familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities. Demonstrated ability in negotiation, upselling rental units or services, and managing contracts effectively. Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, , and general administrative tasks. Ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Benefits and Compensation Pay Range:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour, Includes incentives for new Move-ins and Lease Renewals.
