Job Description

OVERVIEW

RESPONSIBILITIES
At United Property Management our Leasing Consultants coordinate all phases of apartment leasing. This team member is the first line of contact for prospective apartment residents and guests. They coordinate move-ins and move-outs, lease and renewal negotiations, and apartment showings. Leasing Consultants attempt to maximize occupancy rates by pre-selling available units, and contacting interested prospects by telephone soliciting, email, or other means. Leasing Consultants have various administrative and front-line support duties. They handle and maintain records of inquiries from prospective tenants, as well as conduct apartment and general facility tours, greet future residents, and take rental applications. A successful Leasing Consultant must have strong organizational abilities, follow-up skills, and a keen attention to the little details which can lead to a successful close, and a satisfied current or prospective resident.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents at the community assigned.
  • Answer telephone calls and schedule sales appointments with prospective residents.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Conduct tours of community amenities and apartments.
  • Effectively communicate with prospective residents of application acceptance or rejection.
  • Maintain records of apartment showings and follow-up contact information of prospective residents.
  • Assist prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Must be able to travel to multiple sites within a geographic area
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • 2 years of leasing experience.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Entrata experience is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
May be required to walk from office to apartment showings which may be utilizing stairs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Office environment
  • Must adhere to company no cell phone/texting policy when traveling by car.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
