Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants in person and over the phone, providing detailed information about available units and community amenities in both languages Conduct property tours, highlighting features and answering questions confidently to upsell units Manage lease or rental agreement processes accurately using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite Verify applicant information, including legal documentation, income verification, and landlord references, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines Handle lease negotiations, renewals, and contract signing while maintaining positive tenant relationships Maintain detailed records of all leasing activities, data entry, filing, and correspondence in accordance with company policies Address tenant concerns promptly by applying conflict management skills and coordinating property maintenance or facilities issues as needed Stay updated on local landlord-tenant law, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other relevant legal requirements to ensure compliance at all times Qualifications Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (required), with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages Proven experience as a leasing agent or in property management administrative roles Strong knowledge of Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software; familiarity with CMMS systems is a plus Solid understanding of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, LIHTC programs, and Section 8 housing policies Experience handling lease agreements, contracts, and rental negotiations effectively Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities Background in real estate administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and office management Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior experience working within property management companies or facilities management is highly desirable Join us to make a difference by helping residents find their perfect home!
