THE OPPORTUNITY
Coronado Law Group is seeking an experienced Licensed Title Agent to step into a true leadership role within an established and respected real estate law firm. This is an opportunity to take ownership of an active, attorney-supported title operation with an existing pipeline, strong referral relationships, and the autonomy to help shape how the division operates moving forward. You will serve as the firm's lead title professional, overseeing the full closing process, helping drive the implementation of Qualia, and building the operational foundation for future growth. Unlike many title environments built around volume and constant oversight, this role offers the chance to operate as a trusted expert inside a collaborative, relationship-driven practice where quality, professionalism, and long-term client relationships matter. For the right professional, this opportunity offers:
- Direct visibility with respected attorneys and established community relationships
- The ability to influence operational workflow and process structure
- A stable platform with consistent business flow and long-term growth potential
- Meaningful ownership inside a collaborative, attorney-led practice
- The opportunity to help shape the future growth of the title division
ABOUT CORONADO LAW GROUP
Coronado Law Group is a well-established, full-service law firm that has served the New Smyrna Beach community since 2006. Over the years, the firm has built a strong reputation throughout Volusia County for running organized, professional closings while maintaining a genuinely relationship-driven practice. This is not a high-volume title operation or a corporate environment where files simply move down an assembly line. The team is close-knit by design, experienced, and collaborative. People tend to stay because the culture is stable, the attorneys are accessible, and professionalism is genuinely valued. Managing Partner Kenny Bohannon is Board Certified in Real Estate Law and currently serves as Chair of the Florida Bar's Real Estate Certification Committee. Partner Mike Lyons is a longtime Volusia County attorney and former President of the Southeast Volusia Chamber of Commerce. Together, the firm has built longstanding relationships with Realtors, lenders, buyers, sellers, and local businesses throughout the region. The office is located directly on the causeway in New Smyrna Beach, offering a professional, community-centered environment without the feel of a large corporate title company. For someone seeking long-term stability, meaningful client relationships, and the opportunity to help shape the future of a growing operation, this is the kind of role that rarely becomes available.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
This role is defined by outcomes. The following objectives represent what success looks like. 1. Full-Cycle Closing Management Take full ownership of the firm's active closing pipeline, overseeing approximately 6-12 transactions per month within a collaborative, attorney-led real estate practice. Independently manage all aspects of both cash and financed closings, including lender balancing, interest prorations, compliance with bank requirements, preparation of closing disclosures, deeds, and all supporting documentation. 2. Qualia System Implementation & Process Optimization Lead and modernize the firm's transition to Qualia, helping create a streamlined and scalable closing operation designed to support long-term divisional growth. Configure the system to align with operational workflow, accurately migrate active files, and become the firm's internal subject matter expert on the platform.
Target:
fully operational within 60-90 days, with documented workflows and improved operational consistency in place as the division continues to grow. 3. Build the Foundation for a Scalable Division Establish the operational foundation for a scalable title division, with the opportunity to help shape future hiring, workflow structure, and team development as the practice grows. As caseload and operational demands increase, help lay the groundwork for future support staff, such as a title clerk, escrow assistant, or title coordinator. For the right person, this role offers the opportunity to grow alongside the division and play a meaningful role in its long-term development.
THE ENVIRONMENT
Coronado Law Group operates with a professional, collaborative, and intentionally non-corporate culture. The office is built around trust, accountability, and strong working relationships, both internally and with clients throughout the local real estate community. This role is designed for an experienced title professional who can operate independently, take ownership of their files, and manage responsibilities with minimal oversight. The attorneys are accessible, supportive, and highly experienced, while giving trusted professionals the autonomy to own their responsibilities. The team itself is small, friendly, and collaborative. Culture fit matters because this person becomes a direct extension of the firm's reputation with Realtors, lenders, buyers, and sellers across the region. This role is especially well suited for someone who:
- Takes ownership naturally and thrives in an autonomous environment
- Is meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented
- Brings a calm, professional presence to client interactions
- Enjoys working within a steady, relationship-driven environment
- Wants long-term stability with the opportunity to help grow the title operation over time
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
This role reports directly to the firm's attorneys, Kenneth Bohannon and Michael Lyons. You will work alongside a close-knit support team including paralegals, a litigation assistant, and an office manager. The attorneys are accessible, supportive, and invested in the long-term success of this division.
