In this role you are the first point of contact for the property management office at our newest property Arcadia in Tamarac, FL. Bilingual in English and Spanish an asset. Key Job Responsibilities Creates an excellent first impression and greets all customers knowing that you are often the first person our prospect sees. You answer calls and communications about inquiries and provide rental information in a professional, enthusiastic and positive manner Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other Federal, State, and Local laws pertaining to Multi-Family Housing. Manage all aspects of the leasing process, including leasing apartments, preparing lease paperwork, and assisting to ensure a smooth move-in. Complete all documentation in a professional, accurate, and timely manner. Utilize (Yardi Voyager) for leasing information, rent collecting, rent renewals and resident notices. Prepare lease agreements and renewals. Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate. You process rental applications, including, verifying applicant information and conducting background within twenty-four (24) hours of the lease date. Respond to in-person, phone, and email inquiries, which includes providing leasing information, making appointments, and creating and following up with maintenance requests. Assist with completing weekly, monthly, and special reports as assigned by the Property Manager. Collect deposits and rent money and record appropriately. Be an expert in the market. Know the comps, rents, specials, occupancy, traffic. Marketing - use online presence to maximize exposure to the property. Scrub advertising sites to ensure accuracy in advertising. Discover future residents' needs, show them around your community's amenity areas and model homes, and highlight all the benefits that will make them want to call your community home. Communicate with clarity and enthusiasm towards co-workers, residents, and prospects. Education and Experience A high school diploma or equivalent and professional knowledge of business discipline are required. Previous property management experience preferred.
