Job Description:
The Leasing and Sales Consultant is a highly motivated, sales-driven professional responsible for leasing apartment homes and converting leads into signed leases. This role plays a critical part in achieving occupancy and revenue goals by actively managing the full sales cycle—from initial contact to lease signing—while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about meeting leasing targets, closing deals, and helping prospects find their new home.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales performance by actively managing leads, conducting outbound follow-ups, and nurturing prospects through the leasing pipeline Convert tours into leases through persuasive selling, understanding prospect needs, and effectively presenting the community's value proposition Conduct property tours with energy and confidence, highlighting features, benefits, and amenities to overcome objections and close sales Follow up persistently and strategically with prospective residents via phone, text, email, and CRM platforms to move them toward commitment Maintain a deep understanding of the community's pricing, floor plans, availability, and competitive market positioning to guide sales conversations Achieve or exceed leasing goals and occupancy targets set by property leadership Process lease applications accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth transition from prospect to resident Assist with execution of marketing initiatives, including online outreach, social media, and resident referral programs to generate traffic and increase conversions Track sales activity and outcomes through CRM or leasing software (e.g., Knock, Onesite, Entrata), ensuring accurate data for reporting and performance analysis Collaborate with the leasing and management team to optimize sales strategies and improve overall leasing performance
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals , ideally in leasing, real estate, retail, or hospitality Strong closing skills with the ability to read prospects and tailor messaging to drive decisions High level of confidence, professionalism, and enthusiasm during property tours and interactions Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to influence and persuade Comfort with technology and CRM/leasing software for tracking leads and conversions Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow up with multiple leads simultaneously Self-starter with a competitive spirit and drive to succeed Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and customer-focused environment
