Full-Time, Non-Exempt About Allied Capital Title Allied Capital Title is the largest independent title insurance company in the region, operating 25 offices throughout Illinois and Indiana. Position Summary We are looking for an Escrow Closer to join our Allied Capital Title Champaign team. The Escrow Closer will facilitate all aspects of the real estate closing process, coordinating with attorneys, lenders, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers to ensure each transaction runs smoothly from start to finish. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. Responsibilities Coordinate all aspects of the real estate closing process from contract to closing, ensuring each transaction runs smoothly and all requirements are met. Communicate proactively with attorneys, lenders, realtors, buyers, and sellers throughout the transaction. Review title commitments, identify and clear title issues, resolve escrow discrepancies, and ensure compliance with real estate regulations and escrow standards prior to closing. Prepare closing documents, settlement statements, and all related paperwork in accordance with company and underwriter standards. Manage escrow funds and disbursements in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. Conduct closings in the Champaign office and maintain accurate and organized records throughout each transaction. Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, agents, lenders, and other transaction parties while delivering outstanding customer service. Qualifications & Skills Experience in the title industry or a related field (real estate, banking, legal, or lending) preferred but not required. Ability to work in an accurate, detailoriented, and highly organized manner. Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problemsolving capabilities with the ability to exercise independent judgment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines in a fastpaced environment. Customerfocused with a professional, positive attitude and the ability to build lasting client relationships. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel; ability to learn new software programs quickly.
