  • Part-time, Contract We are a smaller title company looking for an experienced Residential Real Estate/Escrow Closer to work on a part-time/contract basis.
This person will attend the physical closing and be responsible for completing the requirements to close the transaction, such as document signing, coordinating with the lenders, attorneys, and our main office, notarizing documents, cutting checks, sending lender's document for approval, etc. We provide a collaborative, energetic, and supportive environment for our closers, and are looking for someone to join our team and support our main office.
Job Duties:
  • Attending the closings throughout the Chicagoland area, which will typically take place in Cook, DuPage, Will, and Kane counties.
  • Conducting real estate closings in a professional and legal manner;
  • Working with buyers and lenders to ensure lender's documents are executed and approved;
  • Complying with escrow requirements and funding each transaction;
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations;
  • Receiving and disbursing escrow funds;
  • Working closely with lenders and attorneys to ensure a successful closing; and
  • Supporting and collaborating with our main title office;
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of experience closing real estate transactions;
  • Experience with title insurance and title commitments;
  • Superior customer service, organizational, and communication skills;
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation;
  • Valid notary stamp;
  • Willingness to travel to locations throughout the Chicagoland area This position will be on a contract basis handling overflow closings as they are scheduled, averaging between 2-4 closings per week.
A flexible schedule is a must to ensure you can handle the closings as they are scheduled. We will pay a flat fee of $300 per closing, plus mileage and parking. Serious inquiries only please.
