Real Estate Title and Escrow Closer

Job Summary We are seeking an individual who will make an immediate positive impact on our business by providing knowledgeable support to our team and clients. Candidates must have 7 or more years of related real estate title and closing experience. Responsibilities Review title commitments and assist in obtaining any necessary title clearance Prepare CPLs Prepare CD and settlement statements for lender and cash closings Prepare various closing documents Coordinate with lenders and attorneys to ensure requirements are met for timely closings Schedule closings with escrow partner Closely follow all escrow instructions provided by lender Review and verify accuracy of all closing documents to ensure documents were executed properly and meet lender funding requirements and county recording requirements Work closely with outside escrow partners for smooth closing/funding process and assist in handling any closing issues that may arise Perform a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes Prepare lender and owner's policies Other duties as assigned Requirements Must have 7+ years of real estate title and closing experience IL Notary recommended (or willing to obtain) Ability to interpret various agreements as they relate to title and escrow closings Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Since 2019, our team has supported real estate transactions throughout the Chicagoland area.
