Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and proactive part-time Leasing Agent to oversee the daily operations of our apartment community in Bluffton, IN. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid understanding of property management principles. This role is essential in ensuring tenant satisfaction, maintaining property standards, and maximizing occupancy rates. Duties Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing available units and conducting property tours for prospective tenants. Utilize OneSite software for managing tenant applications, leases, and records efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service to tenants by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a positive living experience. Oversee property maintenance activities, coordinating repairs and maintenance requests to ensure properties are well-maintained. Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards. Maintain accurate administrative records related to leasing agreements, tenant communications, and maintenance logs. Collaborate with legal teams to ensure compliance with housing laws and regulations, including LIHTC requirements. Implement sales strategies to improve occupancy rates and enhance tenant retention through community engagement initiatives. Requirements Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with OneSite software is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of property leasing processes and sales techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts effectively. Basic understanding of legal aspects related to property management and leasing agreements. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in an office environment. Experience in property maintenance or coordination is a plus. Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
