  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales & Leasing Associate to join our vibrant property management team.
In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador for leasing and sales activities, ensuring prospective tenants receive exceptional service while guiding them through the leasing process. Your energetic approach will help foster positive relationships, promote available properties, and contribute to the overall success of our community. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine sales expertise with property management knowledge, making a tangible impact on residents' lives and the organization's growth. Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants professionally and enthusiastically, providing detailed property tours and answering all questions about amenities, lease terms, and community features Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through application approval, lease signing, and move-in coordination Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite to input data accurately, track leads, and maintain comprehensive records of interactions Conduct thorough legal administrative tasks including lease preparation, contract review, and compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Landlord-Tenant law Promote available units through upselling techniques while maintaining a customer-centric approach to meet individual needs Handle tenant inquiries related to Section 8 housing programs and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) properties with clarity and professionalism Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate property upkeep and address tenant requests promptly using facilities management tools like CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Manage conflict resolution effectively by employing strong negotiation skills and conflict management strategies to foster positive tenant relations Maintain organized filing systems for lease agreements, legal documents, and compliance records in accordance with regulatory standards Engage in ongoing customer relationship management to ensure high satisfaction levels and encourage lease renewals or referrals Skills Proven experience with property management software. Strong knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law Excellent customer service skills with phone etiquette that creates welcoming interactions for prospective tenants Demonstrated ability in sales techniques, upselling, negotiation, and contract management within real estate or property leasing environments Office experience including data entry, filing systems, and general administrative tasks supporting property operations Conflict management skills capable of resolving disputes professionally while maintaining positive relationships Effective communication skills for engaging diverse audiences across different platforms including in-person visits and phone calls Facilities management awareness for coordinating property maintenance needs efficiently using appropriate tools Join us as a Sales & Leasing Associate if you're passionate about connecting people with their ideal homes while thriving in a fast-paced environment that values your proactive spirit.
