This role is ideal for a highly motivated, sales-oriented individual who thrives in a high-volume environment and is driven to close. The position offers strong earning potential through a competitive base hourly wage and uncapped leasing commissions. The community is part of a larger 1,250-unit multifamily development, including a 108-unit luxury townhome property near completion, with significant future growth planned. As the development expands, this role will provide the opportunity to mentor additional leasing staff and grow into a Leasing Manager position.
Duties/Responsibilities include:
Generate, manage, and convert prospect traffic into signed leases Conduct apartment tours and effectively close prospective residents Manage leads and follow-up using Knock CRM software Coordinate outreach marketing efforts and maintain online advertising and social media presence Oversee the presentation of model and vacant units Qualify prospects, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in procedures Coordinate resident events and support retention and renewal efforts Serve as a primary point of contact between the property and prospective residents Assist in mentoring and developing leasing staff as the portfolio grows
Requirements/Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of apartment leasing, sales, or related experience Strong closing skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Professional presentation and strong organizational abilities Ability to handle objections and convert leads effectively Experience with property management software (Onesite, Knock preferred but not required) Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required Ability to work weekends with a compensatory day off during the week Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
