Leasing Consultant Indy Collective Property Group Indianapolis, IN Job Details Full-time $18 - $19 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Driver's License Phone customer support Attention to detail Prospecting Process management Multifamily properties Full Job Description Leasing Consultant Indianapolis, IN | Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant to join our team overseeing 11 historic apartment communities throughout Indianapolis. This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate has prior multifamily leasing experience and understands that successful leasing extends beyond filling vacancies—it includes building resident relationships, executing renewals, and delivering an exceptional move-in experience. Our portfolio consists entirely of market-rate historic apartment communities, each with its own character, architecture, and resident base. Primary ResponsibilitiesLeasing & Occupancy Conduct apartment tours and professionally present available homes Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, text, and online platforms Follow up consistently with prospects to maximize lease conversion Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through signed lease Maintain strong occupancy across the portfolio Monitor market conditions and competitor pricing Renewals & Resident Retention Manage the renewal process from start to finish Conduct renewal outreach and negotiations with existing residents Identify opportunities to improve resident retention Maintain positive resident relationships throughout the lease term Work closely with management to achieve occupancy and retention goals Move-Ins & Resident Experience Coordinate and execute high-quality move-ins Verify units are ready and ensure residents receive a positive first impression Partner with maintenance, cleaning, and operations teams to prepare apartments Resolve resident concerns professionally and promptly Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate records in AppFolio and related software Prepare leases, renewal documents, and resident communications Track leasing activity, follow-ups, and occupancy metrics Assist with marketing and online listing management Qualifications Multifamily leasing experience required Strong sales and closing skills Experience managing lease renewals preferred Excellent customer service and communication abilities Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working across multiple properties Experience with AppFolio, ShowMojo, or similar software preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation About Our Team We manage a portfolio of distinctive historic apartment communities throughout Indianapolis. Our operations are supported by a robust in-house team, including maintenance technicians, turn technicians, cleaning staff, and groundskeeping personnel, allowing our leasing team to focus on what matters most: leasing apartments, retaining residents, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Compensation:
Base salary plus performance incentives tied to leasing and renewal performance.
Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
