Job Description

Property Leasing Agent Legacy Management is looking to hire a leasing agent to work at our Richmond, IN location. This position includes Saturday's.
Summary:
A leasing agent position allows you to build relationships with prospective residents and show them why they should select our property as their home. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in sales and customer services to help us with the leasing process. A leasing agent is responsible for showing apartments to potential residents, collecting necessary information from applicants to process applications, work orders, creating leasing documents, answering emails, taking phone calls and payments. You will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members both on the phone and in person.
Duties:
Support goals and visions of the team and the apartment complex while following all company policies as well as Fair Housing, Americans with Disability Act, and Fair credit Reporting Act policies and laws. Work closely with the property manager to ensure the highest customer service. Greet prospects and tenants for in-person visits Respond to all leads in a timely manner in order to convert to on-site appointments Keep files and data updated and accurate and process applications and verifications Answer and make phone calls on a daily basis Meet with new prospects and provide expert information on our product offering in a kind and helpful manner in order to generate new leases Prepare delinquent account reports and attempt to collect past due payments Initiate creative strategies to build a positive buzz about the apartment community Check curb appeal, model apartment, exercise room, and laundry room daily to ensure we are portraying a positive manner and report all deficiencies to property manager Meet and exceed monthly leasing targets This job posting is intended to describe the general requirements for the performance of this job. Requirements:
Analytical ability Ability to clearly communicate with customers in an upbeat, positive and reassuring way. Multi-tasking for greater efficiency Previous sales and customer service experience is beneficial Experience within the apartment industry is preferred
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Friendly disposition and strong commitment to customer service Comfort speaking on the phone and in-person in a friendly and professional manner Prior office and computer experience Excellent problem solving and organizing skills Attention to detail and accuracy is a must Written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills Most work is performed under general office conditions in a temperature-controlled environment with the use of calculators, keyboard, telephones and other office equipment during the course of the day
