Title Insurance Escrow Officer/Closer

Barrister Title is seeking an experienced Title Closer / Escrow Officer to manage residential real estate transactions from start to finish in our Schererville office. This role is ideal for a closer who is detail-oriented, confident with mortgage documentation, and looking for a well-run, supportive environment where they can do their best work.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and conduct residential real estate closings (purchase and refinance). Review and interpret mortgage loan documentation. Accurately prepare and balance settlement statements. Coordinate with lenders, agents, HOAs, and all parties to ensure smooth closings. Manage timelines, documents, and communication from contract to closing. Fund transactions accurately and on time. Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations.

What We're Looking For:

Experience in residential title closings or escrow operations. Strong working knowledge of mortgage loan documentation. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines efficiently. Professional, friendly communicator with strong relationship skills.
