Job Description

Real Estate Salesperson Turner Farms Real Estate Boston, MA Job Details Full-time $70,000 - $145,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Welcome to Turner Farms Real Estate! We are a small boutique firm based in Boston, focusing primarily on full-service landlord relations. The goal of the brokerage is to offer a variety of services to property owners, from leasing as the foundation to building cash flow, then branching outward to management, consultation, and sales of investment properties. The brokerage was founded on the principle that the best agents are built from the ground up, so people fresh to the industry are welcomed and encouraged to apply. Training The best training comes from doing - not from a classroom or from watching a video. Our approach is to take what works and copy it. The broker, Trevor, will guide you through how he does the job on a daily basis. From there - it's just up to you to replicate it and consistently hone your skill set. Trevor is in office 5-6 days a week from 9am-6:30pm. You will always have the guidance that you need, from someone doing the same work themselves. We all work side by side and improve together. What We Do Differently To produce money as an agent, you need to have inputs into your system. This includes things like listings, keys, photos, property owner contacts, etc. The better your inputs are, the higher your output will be. As a new agent, it is very difficult to procure these for yourself at most agencies. Our brokerage believes that the best service a landlord can receive is through multiple agents cooperating to bring them clientele. To do so, we share all of our listings, keys, photos, etc. Every agent, including the broker Trevor, is using the exact same inputs to procure business. We each market individually, and we service clients individually, but the database we use to conduct our work is shared and collaborative. Agents are entrusted with nurturing owner relationships that have spanned years, and as such, we need to ensure you have the best training possible. It is why we invest so much time and effort to make sure you are an expert at what you do. Compensation Real Estate Agents are paid commission via 1099. The transactional split for the brokerage is 70/30, so 70% of the commission earned is given to the agent upon a completed transaction. There are no desk fees, transaction fees, brokerage insurance fees, etc. It is a flat percentage. You will be given a desk to work at, which is outfitted with dual screen monitors, MacOS, and all of the accounts we use. First year agents are fully capable of taking home $100,000 - it just requires consistency, discipline and effort to keep tweaking your work and improving. There will be no shortage of advice!
